Our apps are built with your privacy as a first principle. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data. All data used by our apps stays on your device — always.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy applies to all Android applications published by systemengineer.dev on the Google Play Store. Each app we publish shares the same core privacy principles described below, with app-specific details found in Section 12.

By using any of our apps, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use and uninstall the application.

2. Data We Collect

We collect no personal identifiable information (PII). Specifically:

  • We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any account information.
  • We do not use advertising IDs, device fingerprints, or tracking cookies.
  • We do not collect crash reports or analytics data.
  • Any functional data (such as GPS coordinates) is used in real-time, on-device, and is never transmitted to any server.
  • User-created content (e.g. saved locations, preferences) is stored only on your device.

3. How We Use Data

Any data processed by our apps is used solely to deliver the app's core functionality. No data is used for:

  • Advertising or marketing
  • Profiling or behavioural tracking
  • Sale or transfer to third parties

4. Data Storage & Security

  • All user data is stored locally using Android's standard data stores (e.g. SQLite/Room, SharedPreferences).
  • No data is transmitted to any external server or cloud service.
  • No internet connection is required for core functionality (except for apps using Google Maps for display).
  • Uninstalling an app permanently and irrevocably deletes all associated data from your device.

5. Third-Party Services

Most of our apps operate entirely without any third-party SDK. Where a third-party SDK is used (e.g. Google Maps for map display), it is listed in the app-specific section below. We do not use:

  • Analytics SDKs (Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, etc.)
  • Crash reporting tools (Crashlytics, Sentry, etc.)
  • Advertising SDKs (AdMob, Facebook Ads, etc.)
  • Social login SDKs (Google Sign-In, Facebook Login, etc.)

6. Android Permissions

Each app requests only the minimum permissions required for its core features. A full list of permissions per app, with explanations, is in Section 12. We never request permissions that are not necessary for the app's stated functionality.

7. Children's Privacy

None of our applications are directed at, or designed for, children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Our apps contain no advertisements, no user accounts, and no social features. If you believe a child under 13 has used our app, please contact us and we will provide guidance on removing any locally stored data.

8. Your Rights

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control at all times:

  • Access & Deletion: Delete any saved data from within the app's settings or UI.
  • Permission Revocation: Revoke any Android permission from Settings → Apps → [App Name] → Permissions at any time.
  • Full Erasure: Uninstalling the app permanently removes all data stored by it.
  • No Account Needed: There is no account to delete because we do not create one.

9. Legal Compliance

GDPR (EU General Data Protection Regulation)

Since we collect no personal data and process no data outside your device, our apps do not require data processing agreements or a DPA. We still adhere to GDPR principles of data minimisation, purpose limitation, and storage limitation by design. Users in the EU retain all rights listed in Section 8.

India IT Act (Information Technology Act, 2000 & DPDP Act, 2023)

We comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. As we do not collect, process, or store personal data on any server, no data fiduciary obligations arise. Users in India retain the rights described in Section 8.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect new apps or changes in practice. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of our apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
